Ladakh Road trip 2023 | Day-01 Kolkata to Lucknow

Welcome to our most awaited series of "Leh Chalo Ladakh" .
Day-01 journey, we started from Kolkata on 16th June 11:30 PM and reached Lucknow on 17th june at 10 PM. It took around 23 hrs to reach lucknow, approx 1000km of drive on 1st day.
we took this route :
Kolkata - Burdwan - Maithon - Chouparan - Aurangabad - Buxar - Purbanchal Exp way - Lucknow

How was the road condition from Aurangabad to Buxar. Is that stretch safe for family. Please give your feed back.

While going to lucknow we crossed this at day time, and while returning we crossed this stretch around mid night.We didn't face any issue as-such. so no concern regarding safety, But i will suggest you to cross this stretch at Day time. cause the lanes will be merged after Aurangabad till Buxar, and road conditions are not good somewhere in this stretch. you will face lot of potholes and bad road patches.

@@downshifter16 thanks a lot. There is another way to reach PE. After mohania Toll there comes Durante crossing from there take right, cross gazipur and reach PE

Kolkata to lucknow er, ei stretch tai ektu baje, jeta apni mention korlen..Lane merge hoye jacche aurangabad er por . potholes & speed breaker ache. ei stretch ta din er aloy periye jawa better
