@Jordan - I was about to say the same; the title sounds silly, like something a dumb teenager would do when drunk - which is why I didn't click on it for a while. I wasn't expecting such an in-depth story as we got.

I think the titles are all orchestrated, and very clever, here's why: The people who really need to hear this guy's story are those that will click on an interview about a bank robber but wouldn't necessarily click on an interview of a surviver of abuse.

It actually made me get teary when he talks about how important it is to talk and that is that men struggle talking cause it hits so close to home. I remember getting help growing up, but specifically when I was 18, the therapists either leaked things to family or were more on the unsupportive side. I lost faith in the system and as far as I could tell, the world was against me. After a year it was written that I was a normal person, but really I had just accepted that I deserved every bit and became a more broken man than I was before. Of course, thats years ago and I have thanks to my father getting back in my life, gotten proper help and guidance in taking back my life. What he did for me changed my life for good, and the only thing I can't get used to, but means so much to me, is the hugs he keeps giving me every time we meet.

That moment of running out when he saw the impact of his actions was the most human emotion spoken of in this video... empathy. Its moments like that which show who are person truly are deep down, and its those same moments we should all try and build who we are fully around. What that guy ended with about men not speaking out about problems is so bloody true n all and its something that seriously needs addressing. I'm guilty of it for sure, continuously letting things build up until either a problem becomes unmanageable or i flip out in a way that scares myself in hindsight. I don't see a way in which it changes though if serious investment by collective governments doesnt happen, as it seems like its a field that is almost nonexistent and clearly underfunded.

I grew up in extremely poor conditions, physically abusive mother (multiple prosecutions for serious neglect and assaulting me) conditions described by a met police detective as the worst he had seen in his 30 year career but I was left with my mother despite the convictions and arrests, I was always seen as just a naughty child, I wasn't removed from my mother until I retaliated in 2011 and was prosecuted for that, thankfully for me as an adult now having had a social services review that decided I should have been removed in 2003 when I was young I finally felt listened to. I urge anyone going through a tough childhood or those who did, talk to someone, there is a lot of help out there.
