This man is the greatest player I have ever seen in the Premiership. Every week, it seemed, he would glide past midfielders and defenders and slot the ball away as though it was expected of him. What an unbelievable player. People who are only watching highlights, because they weren't around back then, will never understand just how unreal this man was. Simply sensational.

It's lovely to see the big brother player dynamic from Thierry with these former team mates. I'm sure he was challenging to play with, but that experience, wisdom and work ethic was invaluable for NY Red Bulls.

Oh My! Thierry, you finally said it! This guy I work with once said soccer is a sport for women. Real football is American football. I told him to throw and catch a ball is natural. So American football is based on natural tendencies and body function. Yes, you see the talent of course but you don't see something unnatural. But training your feet to function as if they are your hands and controlling the ball and doing all kinds of tricks without using your hands, makes football (soccer) not just a sport, but an art. That's why people enjoy the game when it ends even without scores. Thierry, you explained it way better and gave me goosebumps. Thank you!

Thierry Henry and Ronaldinho are by far my favorite living football legends, they are the reason I fell in love with football in the first place, they are part of my childhood... Henry should have won at least one or two ballon d'or in the 2003 and 2004 seasons, he was so unique and underrated back then, he was almost unstoppable and genuinely a very good all-rounder authentic player. ☯️✌️

this was a good watch. I loved the way he broke down the skills of a player. His funny also, his passion and drive that he has for the game is everything and most importantly he always wanted to improve the players even if it seemed harsh at times it was simply tough love. looking forward to the next podcast. Proud of you always 💗 126 my legend 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

My cousin played for a MLS team and there is a picture of him trying to take the ball from Henry. When I asked him about it he was mad cause Henry bagged 2 goals on his team. I was like who cares that was you and Henry in the picture. What a memory!

You can see why because he was so gifted and talented that he couldn't relate to players who were no on the same level as he is. One of his main problems is that he lacks some of the understanding that not everybody can do what he was capable of doing so when he was managing teams he would get upset and frustrated that he could see things that the players can't because they're just not as good as he was BWP's story about TH in training and about the midfield being too tight shows what I mean where even a decent player like BWP is seeing one thing but Titi is seeing something else and he got upset that nobody else sees what he sees. One of the aspects of a good coach is being able to handle players who are on different levels of ability and Titi doesn't have it in him because he was so good that the impossible for most others seemed like the norm for him

Generally speaking the best players turned coaches are midfielders. Guardiola, Ancelotti, Luis Enrique, Zidane, Simeone, Conte, Del Bosque, just to name a few. You could even throw Arteta in there if he continues his current form, however the team does play scintillating football regardless at its peak.
