Ohhhh I LOVE this!!! I’ve always deeply analyzed Kurt and his lyrics. I’m fascinated, I think because he is the same personality type as I am (INFP), and I connect with him so deeply. Great job!!!

Thank you so much. It's been hard trying to work in reactions to Nirvana. Losing Kurt was and is so painful that it's hard to address the songs without getting emotional. Doing them in a Ladi's Rockucation makes it a little easier.

Love how you guys dig into this. Mark, Ladi, David, and the rest of the LML crew-I’d love to have a beer with you all if I’m ever in Austin. And Mark, what courses do you teach? English, right? Or do you some interdisciplinary stuff? You really have an engaging presence. I’ve had a lot of great teachers and professors in my time and you, Ricky, and Todd seem like you’d easily rank among them. Speaking of, what does Ladi do?

"I’d love to have a beer with you all if I’m ever in Austin" We'd love that, too! We're actually about to start doing a live music video comedy show for Alamo Drafthouse. I'll post about it more on the channel once dates are locked down, but make sure you also follow our FB page because that's where we'll post more about our partnership with Drafthouse. "And Mark, what courses do you teach? English, right?" Kind of. That's what my graduate degree is in, but I've been teaching academic writing and research for nearly 18 years, and for the past 10 or so, I've been teaching a special topics writing course that examines the rhetoric of science and pseudoscience in the United States. It's still an academic writing/research class, but our focus of discussion is narrowed to the rhetorical techniques pseudoscientists use to convince people their nonsense is real. "You really have an engaging presence. I’ve had a lot of great teachers and professors in my time and you, Ricky, and Todd seem like you’d easily rank among them" That's really kind. Thank you so much. A lot of professor obsess about publication and research, but all three of us pride ourselves on the quality of our teaching and classroom instruction. "Speaking of, what does Ladi do?" He's an artist! He started Frenzy Art, and while he's kind of winding it down, but he still has some stuff available in his online store: www.ladiloera.com/frenzy-art He also teaches live storytelling at Merlin Works, a drama school here in Austin. He's also the creative director of Testify, a live storytelling show in town where I'm also a producer. Our show is once a month at Alamo Drafthouse. We're kinda like the Moth. We have curated stories from local storytellers. Here's the Testify channel. Both Ladi and I have stories up. If you like the channel, make sure you sub there, too. It would help us out. kzbin.infoplaylists And thanks so much for all the kind words. We love that you're here.

How refreshing to hear these words coming from you. - Here a quick inside: My niche is "Queen" and when I started the channel a little over a year ago, I was utterly shocked of how much hate and homophobia is still blosseming to this day.- So I raised the filter for the comments section and removed everybody else that had slipped by. - I have no tolerance for ignorance and stupidity since I had been raised to be "colour blind" and that every human being has the right and reasons to live as they please. Thank you, I will now smash that sub button.- Sending Love,Peace and Joy across the pond. ☮

Thank you Elke. We're really glad you liked the video. We work really hard to have fun but to also create an inclusive environment here, so I'm glad that came through. We actually have several playlists with PRIDE themed reactions, which you might like. And Queen is one of our absolute favorites. Do a quick search on the channel and you'll find quite a few Queen themed videos. Thanks again. We're really glad you're here.

Not a surprise Ladi wanted to dance - DG preferred disco grooves because they left space. Sometimes you have to dance in the face of death as an act of defiance! I’m between Ladi and Mark in age. I felt the inclusion and sympathy with others. I wasn’t establishing my identity - I was trying to be something that someone else wanted and recovering from harassment. So, I relate to it that way.

It's so interesting that you're kind of a transition between me and Ladi. We've talked about it a lot, but as we get older, age differences don't really matter all that much, but during teen years, it makes so much difference. Just four years can separate someone's entire generational outlook, and grunge really emphasizes that. It was such a short little paradigm shift.
