Her approach to teaching is the best! Insanely talented woman, yet she seems like the coolest person :)

So helpful. I’m not a belly dancer. I study Flamenco. I love watching Rachel. This interview was helpful for me. Things I’m taking away: Video myself. Make lists of things to work on. Develop a practice. Best advice. Thanks, Rachel.

You have great values Rachel. It's hard to find them amongst people let alone dancers.I did exotic dance for over 20 yrs.And the other dancers were about disharmony.Never unity.Very sad. It's refreshing to hear you talk. And gives me hope for DancerKind!

Alicia Chapa Love how wonderfully articulate Rachel is, and brings the mindset, concerns, and the reality of how you learn, and grow. She's so open and balanced, and I appreciate her commitment to honoring dance and the joy of it, rather than compitition only and the ugly aspects of entertainment. Exactly what you'd want in a teacher. This is why she is so highly regarded throughout the dance community.

Love this! I love how Rachel's face lights up when she talks about how exciting it is to raise expectations for dancers in training and see them meet them. She clearly has passion as a teacher, and seeing that passion makes me admire her even more!
