I can't believe I'm just hearing this version. At 38, I'm not old but I ain't all that young anymore lol and no joke I owned "Emergency" literally 3x on cassette back in the 80's .. This was my cousins wedding song so it has a soft spot for myself and the family ... JT .. You are the man .. Your voice just embodies Kool and The Gang. If I"m being honest when it comes to bands/singers/vocals .. I was listening to "Brothers In Arms" "Hysteria" "Synchronicity" "Loc'd After Dark" "Aerosmith" just dozens others .. But I always thought you had the best voice and carry .. Just a ton of music, that was my go-to as a little kid but going back to my days as a kid listening to 'Emergency' literally to this day stands out .. I can remember yrs later I had my 1st crush being 12 yrs old with the yellow "water proof" Sony walkman having 'Fresh' on repeat .. Just amazing times .. You are my all favorite singer/vocalist ..
