I thought the same until I found those whose mentality matched and I met one of thrm in late 2019 and it wasn't good start bcz when your opinions are strong and you enjoy different things then you clash and I met her in clg hostel but with time thr realisation that at least that person isn't fake us what we bonded over and now we have our separate lives but we are still there to cheer each other and still give honest opinion on things that matter. I am 29 rn so you see I met her when I was 25 & she is a year younger. You might meet such ppl even more late in life. Another one I met in March 2022,that was my roomie in nursing hostel (I mean in the hostel provided during nursing course) and that was just pure luck. She is 7 yrs younger so initially I treated her more like a child but she was such an attentive and positive person that she almost made my life more colorful, my mental health was down and she will read the room but when she sees there is a chance, she takes it and nags me. In few months she became more like younger sibling. We say that there is enough space on top for all of us so why drag other person down. I am emotionally sensitive person so my friendship is also based on that. Before that I had friendd but I was one hell of a people pleaser and putting all the efforts. As I grow older I don't have patience for that.

Why just yesterday I was at a family reunion and I connected with a relative who was the state BAR president in 2013, an older woman, of course far from conventionally attractive. Currently in uni and people dont sit in the same table as me, during group work girls will all talk and complement each other, but I will never be included. Im in a club and even there its like im this invisble creature. Yeah it messes with people for sure. I was excluded both at home and in school and it took me YEARS to heal into a normal person in my adult life. I still don't have any friends but I'm not awkward anymore, I can talk to people, I don't worry about what people are thinking about me any longer. It took me back to being 11 all over again. As you said, girls can be a special kind of evil. I was a little chubby as a kid and had interests like history so the ‘other girls’ bullied tme horrendously. Then I got anorexia and other than that became a really beautiful 15 year old that all the boys wanted-Especially because I didn’t knew I was really beautiful. And oh how those girls hated that. The only thing they could really pick on was my small breasts and that I was to skinny. They did that but now in that special kind of ‘mature’ way where they would tare you down and then immidiately say ‘but you are so beautiful’ afterwards as if it was just all a little joke. And that is how they will still do it until they are 60. Now I am chubby again and beautiful and I still instantly reconize those kind of girls. They are still fucking bullies. But all of this are taught due to internalized misogyni and having watched older girls and women do it. So it all becomes a horrible circle thay repeats it self. Not really how average works, half the population is below average and half the population is above average. Honestly, being perfectly average is the worst position to be in nowadays. If you are above average, people with insecurities will go one of two ways: a) they promote what they believe is better about than themselves, or b) they tear you down. If you are below average, the people who are above you in scale feel the need to lessen the blow, shower you with affection, etc. If you are mid, you are ignored and immediately left in your position. Because you aren't low enough in the hierarchy to feel the need to comfort you or give you an ego boost. It's crazy. This is also the reason why I have very few female friends. The dynamic in a group of girls like this becomes toxic real fast.

I have been this girl/woman SO many times in my life and I'm only 23. Women are experts at social isolation and fake niceness, and they learn it at a very young age. The fake compliments and "encouragement" (ie: "omg! I LOVE your skirt! You should definitely wear it more often" when the skirt actually looks terrible). I had so many fake friends growing up that acted like the women in this video and other people around me would just tell me that my friends are "SO nice!" The worst part is, a lot of women don't grow out of this behavior. I've seen 40 to 50 year old women act like this.

My mother in law and sister in law (also my father in law off) are pieces of work. I know why my husband ran away from his family to another state for college and his masters! I compliment truly unique items such as earrings or pendants, tattoos, and choices bc I can tell the other lady put a lot of thought into it, that it was something special. And often she will tell me a story of “oh it was given to me by someone special” or “I made this myself” and I get to learn something significant about them I wouldn’t have otherwise known. :3

I agree that women are socially cruel AF. I've noticed if you are not the type to play their fake bs games then they will also isolate you. I was not raised to behave that way. It took me a long time to understand this about girl groups. I think culture plays a part in it too. I have not had the same experience with groups of Norwegian, German, or Polish women. I found them to be much more direct, real, and civil. I honestly feel for the woman being isolated by the self absorbed little girls.

The fact that I used to be that girl that was excluded out this video is triggering to me. It feels worse than actually being bullied one on one or the bully picking on you upfront which says a lot. However it’s super common for people to do this because it’s easier to claim your being bullied or excluded if they are more upfront than if they just completely shut you out. When this happened to me and I would say something about it people would say “oh it’s because your not open enough”, “talk more” or “you need to try to be friends with them”.
