Ever notice how the villains don’t care about the wellbeing of trees. First, we had Tirek destroy the Golden Oak Library, Chrysalis using trees for her cloning experiments, and then Sombra destroyed the Tree of Harmony. It’s like a pattern with these guys.

Not to mention the Flimflam brothers ripping trees out of the ground left and right, both in Sweet Apple Acres in season 2, and in that alternate timeline in season 5. No wonder AJ was asking if they count as villains!

I like this episode in that it shows how differently we can all react to someone's/thing's passing on. Smolder initially reacts with anger, Silverstream and Yona with sorrow, and Gallus with the determination that the tree needs to be honored. And, of course, I've seen all too often how different people can want to honor someone in entirely different ways. Despite feeling similar to a few past episodes, I really like this one.

Heads up, the next episode is the 200th episode of the show and is actually written by the main cast voice actors.

That's not entirely accurate- they provided ideas for something they wanted their characters to do (hence they get "Story by" credits), but it was Nicole Dubuc and Josh Haber that assembled everything into a coherent script to use for an episode.

Never made a toy for this one. Did the school of friendship, but the students didn't come with it. Can't even get toys of any of the students. Sucks cause my daughter wants them for her collection.

Amazing! The students friendship grew a crystal tree house. Impressive. But this is going to be the final season? Well as Horrid Henry would say: THAT'S NOT FAAAAIIIIR!!!...>:( Some fans say the series should have had 13 or 15 seasons, but no, only 9 seasons. How disappointing.

Ok So I have Seen up to episode 13 of season 9 Now not all of them hit, but they are all pretty good to awesome. (Something you can’t say about Season 8, Yakity Sax I’m looking at you. that episode was awful) The Next Episode is great. Can’t wait for you reaction to it.

Season 8 had a LOT of bad episodes. Season 9 is yet to have any imo. If the second half is as good as the first then I'm confident in saying season 9 will be the best season of the show.
