I believe reformation was Twilight's only option, she couldn't beat Starlight head on, she had to convince her to stop. Starlight isn't trying to rule like Tirek was, she just thought she needed revenge on Twilight, not on Equestria as a whole

Basically like Twilight said at the end of the episode she had to convince Starlight to stop on her own or they'd be doing that shit forever I don't understand why so many reactors don't get it.

Apple Bloom was afraid of what would happen before and after getting her cutie mark that her whole night consisted of nightmares about it, this is probably something similar that happened after Sunburst left Starlight. Starlight and Apple Bloom also seem to be similar ages so it tracks

Princess Twilight came from a timeline where all of the events that lead up to her becoming a princess still happened. That doesn't change. The Twilight in the timeline where Rainbow Dash never did the rainboom is who will be living the alternate life.

Cutie Mark Chronicles = season 1, episode 23 5. 8:22 "Shouldn't Twilight like, not be a princess now?" Not if you go by multiple timeline theory. The Twilight who came here grew up in a different timeline. New things happening can only affect those in _this_ timeline. The Twilight that came from the timeline we know would be unaffected; she would merely be cut off from returning to her own timeline (until she could recreate the conditions that led to that timeline). This theory would also explain why Starlight _wanted_ Twilight to follow her. Otherwise, Starlight's meddling would only have affected the Twilights of alternate universes, and not the one that had interfered with her plans. 6. 17:44 "I hate sunlight." Are you part vampire? And once again the best mood killer is the intro. When *do* they revise that piece of junk? Starlight had the best position to be reformed though. She had the weakest reason for her antics out of all the villains and antagonists and once Twilight found that out, she knew what to teach exactly. I think the reformation of Sunset Shimmer for example was way more contrived than this one. So although this was a well placed reformation, it starts to pile up a bit, but that's due to worse reformations in the past. The problem here is that Starlight's reason is *too* weak. Just because she forgot that the postal service exists, she founds a cult and takes other's cutiemarks and personalities away? Sheesh. Now that's what I call unstable. Someone once pointed out that in the last stare shot, they placed characters in popular ships next to each other. Like Octavia and Vynil, Lyra and BonBon, Rose and the Doctor, and Snails and Granny Smith. Wait, what? The whole ending had too much quesedilla, err, I mean cheese in it for my taste. Can you realign your mic so that you don't breathe into it all the time? It got on my nerves really quick. No offence. -Coppergears

Not really weak if you people would actually take time to think about it. Since you are not a little kid, you have no right to judge it as weak. Kids her age take things differently than adults. Plus, since Sunburst left right away, she might very well not know where he ended up, so wouldn't know where to even send a letter. Plus, you don't know what her home life is, so she might have had no way to find out. People like you make me sick with your weak opinions and weak observations.

There were supposed to be 3 more alternate realities: 1. A reality in which Trixie took over equestria was scripted, but ultimately cut from the final product due to time constraints. 2. A reality in which Derpy ruled was proposed but was cut as it took away from the tone 3. Another scrapped reality would have been Twilight meeting with an older Starlight standing over a desolated world. In it older Starlight would have pleaded with Twilight to forgive what she did and beg her to stop her younger self. This was scrapped as it was deemed too dark for a child's show

Next season, Sunburst will be the villain, because "I went off to the Magic Academy, and the pony who was supposed to be my friend NEVER WROTE ME! I got my cutie mark and she was too jealous to stay in touch! That's when I knew I had to build all these gundams" or whatever. Tirek singing a reformation song is a hilarious image. I want to see all the as-yet-unreformed villains in a Wreck-it-Ralph style support group.

Glimmers reformation was never NOT going to happen for the simple reason that this is an animated series of pastel-colored ponies where friendship is magic. Forgiveness being part of friendship and all that.

She threatened, tried, and succesfully commited an apocalyptic crime more than once, towards a princess of a nation mind you, as an act of revenge for her being taken away her power to command the lives of an entire village of ponies of which could have normal lives, but were forced into a society of a terrible nature. The fact that she was so easily forgiven for all of this without any sort of punishment doesn't sit right with me.

+Mr. Chaos I didn't do a review, because all I needed to say was in my commentary. That's why it's a commentary. Also, because I am not a brony. I just enjoy watching the show. The reason I'm not as I used to be is because I'm containing myself as to not be as noisy, and because I just don't get as excited as I used to. More so because I want to be myself and not fake an overreaction like most people like to do. And besides, the way I do my commentaries, is my own decision. Not saying that you're trying to tell me I'm supposed to do them differently, but it's very accusive the way you address it. If I don't like the show as much as I used to, then so what? Life goes on, it's just what happens. I've grown a whole lot for the past year, in many good ways. I don't have much time to spend on the internet, but yet I still take my time to make these reactions.Why? Well, obviously because I still care about the show, and my subscribers.
