Ladram Bay to Budleigh Salterton (July 2023) | Inflatable Kayak Vlog and ASMR

Join me on a paddle from July 2023 as I take my Sandbanks Style Optimal inflatable kayak on a rather blustery and choppy journey around the Devon coast from the 5-star holiday park I was staying at in Ladram Bay to the steep pebble beach at Budleigh Salterton. Getting back in at Budleigh Salterton was really difficult and it did not go well.

One of the better videos for this kayak.. you manage to show the pros and cons with out saying anything 👍🏻 .. from my standpoint I would like the recessed drain in front of the seat. So many of these videos are shown in a pond but the truth is these sort of conditions that can spring out of nowhere even on a calm day . thank you .

That Optimal handled them waves really well, wow. Great video btw, i like the way you capture the little details, reinforces a beginner like myself, was also looking at getting a Optimal. P.s i got that paddle in the Red FG model :P

Excellent ! Thinking of getting this as a double or the Aquatec Pro double - Good to see one of these in a choppy sea Budleigh is never easy to beach as it shelves so steeply. Decent paddles and a footrest make all the difference.

Great video - I just got a Sandbanks Explorer - not sure I'd be brave enough to go out in that chop.. But sponge is a great idea!
