At the time Lady and the Tramp was released in Platinum Edition, it already celebrated its 50th anniversary. Pinocchio was my first Platinum Edition DVD I bought. All the others from Little Mermaid, Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, etc. my parents bought for me or have been given to me as a surprise. Now I'm the only member of the family to go and buy Disney vault classics as well as their sequels and spin offs. I recalled Beauty and the Beast as the first Platinum edition dvd we ever had in our own home.
