I saw this picture the first time I was 14 year old boy and I never forgot it. The music is awesome! It is in certain way a great class of Romanticism - main her death under the moonlight completely full of sorrow and despaire. She was a mercurial personality! Thanks so much the pleasure you gave to me. AA

I saw this film for the one and only time over forty years ago and while I can't remember much about the film itself, the theme always stuck in my memory.

Das anyone here has a good copy of the movie? I do have two versions, but both are noisy and old copy's from copy's... Also the 'on sale' DVD versions are bad. As projectionist I had the movie in theater, and there are many memories. but for now - very noisy! The music is wonderful indeed.
