I remember being in the grocery store and she came in with her film crew and filmed a scene for the show in the produce aisle right next to where I was shopping as they filmed. They had changed the store around so it said a different name on it but it was Coopers Super Value it was filmed in.

That's cool! Please tell me that you accidentally asked the male stunt double for HER autograph. Then Maria came over while everyone was laughing about the mistake and noticed you purchase the same coffee as she does. You start talking, next thing you know she invites you over to her house, and you're like "hey, I recognize that couch from your One-Hour Home-Made Christmas Special" and then she said, "Oh, you're the ONE that watched it." But there was some real sadness in the way she said it, so there was an awkward silence, but then she laughed and everything was cool again.

So this opening scene is currently edited down to like 30 seconds on Netflix.i don't understand why.

The 30 second version opens the episode and then the full version plays over the credits of the episode. At least it does when I watch it on netflix
