In all our years of travel, THIS destination takes the cake as our favourite. We were blown away by the huge abundance of marine life & healthy coral, making every day a snorkeling epic! Not only this, the whole island experience was faultless from the passionate staff to the delectable buffet dinners, we really did not want to leave. We've been raving about LEI to friends & family since our return last July.. now you can get a 20min glimpse of all this island & it's eco resort has to offer.

Beautiful spot. I was at Lady Elliot in the 1970's on the Coralita captained by a guy called Muller. Magic spot and nothing on the island but birds back then. Millions of Noddy Turns and Mutton Birds.

How interesting! Thank you for sharing. The birds are still in huge abundance there! We visited at the end of winter & there were already thousands starting to migrate to the island. The island used to be mined for guano too.

I've been searching for a spot for us to go for our short trip to the GBR. After seeing your video, I decided hands down that Lady Elliott is the place I want to go. It looks absolutely amazing! Unfortunately they are booked for our dates in April. Do you know of another place that has all to offer that Lady Elliott does?

We just used a gopro. The water will be chilly in August but you'll get to see whales and manta rays so that's a bonus.
