Don't know about the meaning, I think it's about a toxic relationship that you just can't get out of. The video is so cool, I love the aesthetics, special effects and, of course, the coreography!!!!

It’s a about a toxic relationship that you don’t WANT to get get out of! She wants all the dirtiest and worst parts of him. She name drops a bunch of Alfred Hitchcock films in the second verse like vertigo and rear window basically saying she wants him to be a voyeur of her, to see into her window, to see the worst parts of her just like she wants to do with him.

It a comment of toxic relationships (the video covers themes of sex trafficking) but the concept is being in love with someone you know is bad for you, but you can't help it. The song its self references lots of Alfred Hichcock movies - Vertigo, Psycho, Rear Window (all psychological horrors). The song morphs into stages from want your love to caught in a bad romance. Maybe you can look up lyrics as part of your video :)

The video is about Sex trafficking. Gaga getting scrubbed forcebly and getting dragged out the bath. Another Gaga is paraded in front of a room of men who's computer screens show how much they are willing to pay for her, but she gets revenge on the man who 'won' her by burning him to death. The third Gaga who is malnourished in the cage I think represents another victim who has probably only just been trafficked. That's what I've always thought the video synopsis was, could be wrong though.

I read it as an acknowledgement that the subject and object of the song aren't a good match in some way--personality conflicts, habits that would be harmful to one another, incompatible life plans, etc--but the subject still wants the object, and wants to be more than friends, even knowing it'll probably end badly (hence the revenge). For what it's worth, I think she said at some point that she wrote the song when she had a massive crush on a friend. Not sure if she ever said publicly *why* they were just a friend, though.

I've recently wondered if, "I want your love, I want your revenge" is more of an indication of unhealthy infatuation. She says a lot that she doesn't want to be friends. Additionally, in the final chorus, she says, "I want all your loveless revenge." I think this may be a song about unhealthy obsession. Where you are so enamored by a person that you will do anything to bea partt of their life. Whether it be in a loving or hateful capacity.
