I guess we all hear things differently. Gaga's voice sounds like fingernails on a blackboard to me. She yells instead of singing. Now Liza Minelli? She made you believe there are notes we don't even know about because the tonality of her voice is like a deep beautiful well of sounds. I hear it in her live performances of "New York, New York", and any other song she sings. That's the difference between someone who yells a song and someone who sings a song.

Lian Ryans The first time I heard her sing was a Julie Andrews song, and I thought it sounded like someone imitating Julie Andrews. A good imitation for sure, but not unique. It won't do any good to argue because I am not an avid fan like you are. But I respect your appreciation of her talent.
