lady gaga would not be as successful if elton was not supportive. if elton john was never in the music industry, things would not be the same today. ed sheeran, robbie williams, sting, george micheal, even freddie mercury cuz elton came before fred and also supported fred and lended him his manager which boomed them into 70s success. so elton was a catalyst for all these artists.

Lady Gaga is the lightning I prayed for. When I was young, I was afraid of being myself, she made me feel it was right to be gay. When I started to cut myself and feeling insecure about my body, her songs, her messages, gave me confidence. When I was depress, I learnt from her that I was able to express that pain in an artistic way and since then, I been creating so many things because of her. She is such an amazing person and inspiration. I will always love her.

“When I was young, I prayed for lightning” followed up by “But there was nothing there” is extremely powerful to me, as a gay guy raised in a Muslim country I had zero hope for my future when I was a kid, I basically accepted that I would have to live in the closet for the rest of my life and never truly be myself in public. Thankfully that wasn’t the case and my life turned out to be even better than I could wish for, but listening to this song still made me cry for the child I was 15 years ago. I wish I could go back and tell him that he is going to be just fine.

The ending makes sense and perfect for this song. The title of this song is SINE FROM ABOVE. Sine is a kind of sound wave. And in the ending, you can hear something surprising that shocks your soul. That is the sine that she is looking for. That is the lightning that she is praying for. That sound in the end is the sine that she's been looking for since the beginning.

Sine isn't a sound wave, it's a mathematical function produced by measuring the rotation of a circle. It's also found in mains AC because of the reciprocating motion of a generator. Mapping a Sine wave to the pitch of a note isn't a particularly nice thing to hear.

@@neuroticgurl0295 Sine Wave is the term given to drawing out the function Sine on a grid. The waveform of Sine starts at 0:0, rises to 90:1, returns to 180:0, drops to 270:-1, then finishes at 360:0 for the cycle to repeat. Sine waves occur almost everywhere in nature, but not that often in actual music.

For everyone that are confused with the style, this is ''mellow trance'' music 90's style, similar to Faithless, Robert Miles, etc, (and not house music as others said) and at the latest part of the track, it suddenly has a huge drum 'n bass drop. So, mellow trance/drum n bass are the styles of the track.
