I lost my mom (65 years old) on 5/24/19 and my sister (40 years old) a week later to cancer. I believe people can die of a broken heart because I watched my mom die over two years as she was losing her daughter to cancer. When my mom knew her daughter’s last days were near, she allowed herself to died instead of burying her only daughter. One of the most difficult times of my life. There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t think about them.
