Oh my god. Those heels she wears with the... I don't know how else to describe it - with the armadillo-like garment? I don't know who makes them but those were the If-You're-Rich-And-Into-Fashion-You-Must-Be-Seen-In-These shoes whatever year this video was shot. They were responsible for dozens of broken ankles, and a crap ton of sprains. Her fashion sense is WAY out there, and I agree with Dave; she took up where Madonna left off and then stepped it up by 100.

I think it's actually not fair to compare her to Madonna. Madonna pushed the buttons for the sole purpose of shock value. Lady Gaga puts meaning behind her every move, every look, every expression and every lyric she writes. Gaga writes her own songs and she came from the underground cabaret performance scene in NY. Madonna had all the visuals but lacked the substance behind them while Gaga fills all that in. And at the end of the day Gaga is a much better singer than Madonna ever was even at her peak.

I am queer and am very much into stuff like this, lol. Yes, Lady Gaga has a team of people who help her with fashion. And there is this controversy. There is a Serbian singer Jelena Karleusa, she is also huge queer icon and fashion prodigy, I would say. I think some Lady Gaga's people saw some Jelena's fashion and were "inspired" by it 🤭 People are basically accusing Gaga of stealing Jelena's style sometimes. Like I said, I am way into this kind of stuff and there is no doubt that some Gaga's fashion staffer stole some of Jelena's fashion ideas 🤭 When Jelena said that Gaga was stealing from her, I was like: get out of here Jelena, no way. But there are receipts online, for sure. Of course, Gaga has TONS of her original fashion choices. I adore Lady Gaga ♥️ And for what is worth, I am grateful for Madonna and what she did, but I prefer Gaga. Love them both, but Gaga is just... well you react to her, you know ♥️

I don’t think Madonna had lady. Gaga’s lyrical skills. I imagine yes Madonna reinventing her look and later the dance in Vogue, but even in that guys in vented Vogue and were doing it in a club. She asked to see it… fo4 them to do it in front of her and used them in her video creating a sound, a concept and a new dance craze that was in the clubs about 10 years. Madonna probably came up with hooks and ideas and of course he clothing matching song album or theme. Bad romance by lyricist and literary poetical literature consider it the greatest song. And poem.
