I have watched this video many times in the last year since I finally accepted the fact that I am gay, this was something that frightened me for years & I now realize it is something to celebrate. I can now say with self-assuredness that if I could change myself I would not. I like myself just the way I am. Who I am and what I am is the way God made me and I know I am loved. I've watched this video many times and, I remember the first time I saw it. I thought they were going to a Funeral (Dressed in black and the woman doing the Rosary) only to find out it was a Wedding! What a pleasant surprise! I remember my Wedding day on the 27th of March, 2015. It was in Buffalo (The Queen City). It all happened so fast! We no sooner got our license and they hurried us up to the 2nd floor where a Judge was waiting! We weren't dressed, hadn't shaved and of all things, didn't have our Wedding rings! A Sheriff was my witness and the Clerk was my Husband's! Sadly, my Husband Soupie passed away the 28th of July, 2019. He was diagnosed on the 8th with small cell lung cancer and a brain tumor on top of that. He was on home hospice and during his illness where I had to medicate him, my Mother passed on the 22nd of that month. Needless to say, with me taking care of Soupie, I was unable to attend my Mother's calling hours or funeral itself. What a horrible year 2019 was for me! This video brings back so many wonderful memories!!! Thank You, Jason O'Ffill for this awesome tribute to gay people everywhere!!!

Guys! I showed my partner this and told him that we have an appointment at city Hall for a ticket or whatever at 11 on the 28th. It’s PRIDE, so he was fine we’d be up there anyway. I don't think it's that he "had" to wear a suit in order to get married. Perhaps they both thought of the years of not being able to even be referred to as partners never mind being allowed to marry. It's a beautiful, loving, amazing act between 2 guys or 2 women who now can be regarded as totally equal in everybody's eyes. It's the most groundbreaking day of their lives & well for me, a tee shirt & shorts would be just as good but they looked stunning in there suits. I loved it - as much as the very act of getting married. After all neither happen every day. They are so so lucky, they've got love together for the rest of there lives - and they looked good!
