Great reaction! This is technically one of her first larger crowd concerts but she had actually been performing shows since 2006/2007. She even performed at Lollapalooza Chicago in 2007 as well as store parking lots, bars and Six Flags theme park. She just wasn't taken seriously until after 2008. Before 2008, she was dropped from her original record label bc they didn't think she would amount to anything in life

You need a Glastonbury education. It’s THE festival in the UK to appear at. Five days, more stages than you can count, 180,000 attendees. You make it here and you are done. Forget Coachella. Glastonbury has made the careers of more bands than any festival in history. The flags are a staple - almost always ridiculous, occasionally political and ever present.

Oh yesss these were the days, actually fun fact! Not this one but the monster bal tour was split into two parts. The monster ball and the monster ball 2.0 two diff tours but for the same album bc at that point despite all the ppl coming to her shows she was still broke so she had to revamp it half way through and so essentially the monster ball 2.0 was her big break!

the attitude was already there... a star in homemade mirror mask... but i loved it from the beginning and i still love her to death. can't wait until u see the chromatica ball, she just released it 4 weeks sago streaming on max.

But the fame ball was very low budget which u can expect cuz it’s her first tour and although it was low budget she invested a lot of her own money back in the day to pay for all her stuff and didn’t pocket a dime. (Until she got bigger) so much so that in the song lovegame she uses the phrase “discostick” and she Carries one on stage, being that you don’t get to have lights when you first start out, that was her light 💡 especially in club performances before this tour when it’s absolutely dark, that rlly helped her out.
