Lady Jaye maidening the 1/10 Scale @UDIRC Inkfish Jet Ski

Finally a 1/10 scale jet ski called the Inkfish from UDIRC. I’m not sure why it’s called the Inkfish but they could have just called it UDI’s SPORT23. One cannot just run a jet ski without a rider and so Lady Jaye has the opportunity to own this one for herself. I love this model and if @UDIRC is listening, thank you very much putting this out on the market but please include a reverse bucket on your GEN2 edition and call it maybe another name like UDI’s SPORT23PG2 (P for PRO G2) rather than Inkfish.
Also the water pick up is fine where it is but it could had been easily incorporated into the jet outlet port for a much better cooling effect of the running gear which you will notice on mine. I moved the CG back by 1” inch so that the jet ski sits level on water when it is not running which will also help it to plane faster.
Of course I had to put the model on my trusty old Taranis XD9 where I had to use an electronic switch to turn the lights ON or OFF. I believe the self righting feature on this is just TX program and not a gyro where it uses the motor to instantaneously go forward, reverse, and forward again to create a rocking motion to flip it right side up. I did not bother writing a mix to a switch but it can be easily done with the throttle stick manually.
You cannot flip this model over on 2S. I had water ingress from the rear side of the canopy only because I intentionally flipped it 4 times to test its righting up capability. Otherwise, you will not get any water ingress from just running around. If any, the most you will get under the canopy is condensation on the ESC heatsink from the cooling effect. 20240605 👍👊😎🇵🇭
