I don't think the label then took the cash to Remy or Kim...it wasn't necessarily about taking Nicki down, it was more a tactic of how to get a UK artist the right amount of attention in the US & firing shots at the top female is the fastest way to get a lot of attention if it's done correctly. Fully rate Leshurr for turning it down though, £250K is A LOT of money & not a lot of people would have it in them to say no & take the righteous journey!
