The Golden Temple is one of the primary places to upgrade your gear since it's got a number of vendors that do that. The half bow could really use an upgrade as could the tanto if you do a lot of stealth kills. Merchants will also sell you armor dyes to change the color of your outfits if you want to customize your look. You can also see the upgrade costs and stat boosts in the gear screen. Edit: I guess you've been doing that off camera. lol.

I like to keep my tanto to level 2. Level 3 makes the stealth animation way too fast and efficient. I like the level 2 animations the most

1:29:00 The water is probably red because the rocks in Komatsu have a high iron content, which also explains why they built a forge there. The water running over the rocks becomes contaminated with iron oxide - rust - and turns orange-red. Have fun storming the castle!

Not sure if people have mentioned this but the weather will change based on your playstyle. If you play like a samurai with combat and minimal stealth, it will be sunny and vibrant much more often. Adversely if you play stealth and more like an assassin, it will be stormy and dark much more often.

When you get into large battles like the one for Tadayori's armor, don't forget about concentration to slow time with the bow. You can also put different charms on different outfits to maximize their perks and visiting a hunter in a camp will allow you to upgrade your quiver so you can carry more arrows. (you need predator hides that you can get from boars, bears, and dogs)

Sky remember to regularly upgrade your sword/armour/bow. You can do all 3 at the Golden Temple, it cost supplies, so choose each upgrade carefully. Upgrading your armour also improves its appearance 😊

During the fight at the pond, with so many enemy, Samurai Clan Armor would have returned some resolve with each hit from them. Remember, you can change armor/clothes anytime, including during a fight.

You got lucky you spared the bandits on Empty Baskets. Most of us slaughter the bandits then get back and find out she lied and we killed them for nothing. You can even hear one of the bandits say "we're not desperate enough to steal from an old woman."

What an excellent episode! You are doing absolutely great with the combat, changing stances correctly and all. Very nice! Dude, lady Masako's story is just one of many that will have your emotions torn, put back together and warmed. But Masako's is definitely one of the hardest hitting as you go further! 26:04 - Just to refresh your memory, Lord Adachi, Masako's husband, was the poor soul the Khan lit on fire at the beginning of the game. 9:28 - As you entered the Tadayori's Rest main courtyard, there was a little shrine with a little sign beside it indicating to bow. There are many places like this in the map, and if you bow, you are rewarded pleasantly! Swipe right on the touchpad to bow. Bowing to dead bodies also rewards you. Jin says several different things, depending on who's body you bow to. Tadayori's armor - "I thought the perks would be a little crazier" - Oh, it's more crazy than you think. Concentration is slowing time by pressing the R3 button. Each headshot replenishes your concentration by 25%. (This only gets better when you upgrade the armor). However, even now, if you enter an area by stealth, activate concentration, then pick off people with head shots, and you get headshots in quick succession, you can veritably take out a whole squad of Mongols before they've even noticed you and before time goes back to normal. Having seen how good you actually are at getting headshots, I think this armor will benefit you greatly! But you have to use the concentration! 1:07:16 - "Is there a way to bathe?" - Yes, simply find water, a river or by a beach, deep enough to swim in, and you'll be cleaned. I think you can also change your loadout and it will clean you as well.

Tip for duels: If you are close to the enemy when they sheath their sword try to close in and land an attack because it will cancel the unblockable strike. You gotta be fast though, so don't try it if you're far away.

Little cool thing you can do once you are done with a fight. Try swiping to the left on the big touch button on the controller when you have your sword out. If you swipe to the right you bow.

If you are wondering what the stances do they effect different types of enemies so if the enemy only has a sword use stone stance if they have a shield use water stance if they have a spear use wind stance and soon enough you will find out what the next stance does. You can also use technique points to make exploring easier and you can use technique points to upgrade your stances your ghost weapons and of course your techniques also remember this game takes quite a bit it’s not as long as red dead 2 but it’s still long so I’d recommend even if your bored you can just explore and maybe go to mongol outposts and maybe just ride around take some photos there’s no rush really it’s an open world so take your time ghost of Tsushima is one of the greatest games I’ve ever played and I wish I could forget all about it and play it again and just explore the land of Tsushima so don’t miss your chance explore as much as you can do as many quests, side quest and any events that can help you benefit and I know lots of people already gave you tips I just want to be able to be one of those people because I have 678 hours on the game and I’ve basically mastered everything and I wanted to help people master it aswell so i may have a lot of comments on your ghost videos it’s just because i want you to have the same fun, the same experience i had. If you like the typhoon kick, the jump kick is pretty cool too. Just jump while moving forward and heavy attack. (works in any stance) Don't forget that you can also practice moves when you're alone to figure out combos or get your timing right.

Tip: If no one has already said it, as you progress through the story, you'll learn new combat stances. These stances are effective against different enemies. Make sure while in combat, take note of the type of enemy you have in front of you. You can kill them with any stance, but it really does make a difference in efficiency.

Hi I’m not sure that you saw some of my comments on your other videos and I really really want to give you tips because I have seen many people who have got some things wrong and I wish I could tell them so now I have the chance. 1. Change the difficulty in mid-game (optional but it will give the game more of a challenge) 2.do as many side quests, mongol territories, inari shrines,haiku bamboo strikes and Shinto shrines as much as possible 3. Swipe right on the d-pad to sheath/unsheath your sword swipe left on the d-pad to play the flute (find crickets in cemeteries to get new songs and depending on the song the weather will change) and swipe down on the d-pad to bow (respect is nice) PS. If you want to play the multiplayer (legends mode) i recommend doing it after the main story and also when you come to it (the DLC) i also suggest playing that after the main game aswell. There’s probably not a chance anyone will see this but if you do I hope you consider trying any of these things I suggested. Bye

yea.. the bandit type caste of characters are generally just bandits/rival clan members.. generally just other bad japanese that seek to take advantage of the chaos by pillaging and just being evil. so 2 things; 1) on a scenic beauty note, as living in Japan for going on 3 years now, I can def attest that the game absolutely does it justice with its vistas and backdrops. I've def seen streets lined with trees full yellow leaves during autumn and more popularly, tons of Sakura trees that bloom white and then the signature pink during march time-frame. Going through this game def made me yearn to come back as so much of the aesthetics of this game is very much reflective of Japan itself. 2) edit: u've pretty much gotten most of the stances and are pretty keen at switching between and the differences between each stance.. so nvm xD kudos! Hope u keep enjoying the game! its def a masterpiece with what it accomplishes.

The fast travel was also pretty fast on PS4. Not as fast as on PS5, but still like 5 seconds (which was pretty dang fast for a PS4). Suckerpunch is all around just a really good developer.

Fast travel is great, but you will miss chance to get a lot of supplies along the road.. by travel on the road (not random bushes) you will find a group of mongol terrifying peasant. Save them and they will give you up to 50supplies in return

Hey sky, just a suggestion. You can try FEARS TO FATHOM - an episodic horror game containing 4 episodes till now. It's actually really good and famous. It's not actually supernatural, but deals with our day to day problem in a bit horrific way like "your ex trying to get you back to her by killing you". The first episode is rather a very small one and is actually not that good(it's about 20 mins or so). So if you want to start with it, you can. Just wait till you reach the 4th episode, cuz it's definitely one of the most creepiest stuff that i have seen in non supernatural horror games. And btw these episodes are based on irl experiences... People in the comment, do not hesitate to vouch for me...
