My best friend daughter was diagnosed with HIV, my friend called me and my daughter to come to her house, we both are nurses, she didn't say why but said it was important. When we got there she told us that her daughter was HIV positive, it was other friends there, we all started crying and falling on our knees praying and all her poor daughter could do was just sit there trying to process the news. The prank was too expensive and extreme. Our knowledge and management of AIDS in Africa is so low. Nigeria is not the United States.We see it as a taboo and death sentence. The man had within those few minutes thought over his existence in life many times over that he sees nothing but a doomed life. His thoughts would run chaotic. I hope and wish you can salvage this relationship, Cancer or a long-term illness would have sufficed. This was crazily expensive.

Please I'm a nurse Cancer is not even to joke with, its like a death sentence, it destroys, I lost a friend to cancer, Hiv is not curable but one can live longer with medication and eating well most live long and even have children here in abroad. They educate alot about it. In Africa to even talk about it is a taboo to have it one becomes an outcast. But this prank is expensive imagine people going through this and their families.

I totally agree with you, though none of them is good for pranking. Unlike the HIV used in this prank, Cancer would not be seen or viewed as contacted through infidelity. The thought of how his loved one came in contact with HIV is devastating alone talk less of processing how he is going to live with it for the rest of his life.
