Seems a lot of people reading into the lady's good luck, win big comments and thinking she's shitty about it. Playing the pokes i hear loads of comments about how ironic it is they just got off and the next person wins etc, give good wishes and nobody calls them salty behind their back. I figure it's part of the program, designed to make people who were willing to feed the machine through a quiet time regret having stopped playing. I've won good amounts here and there by jumping on soon after a "feeder" has given up. If she was actually dirty about it she would have made a scene or walked out silently fuming- not wish you luck.

Anyone who acts like that deserves nothing. That’s how a child would act. While I don’t like losing, I don’t get mad when someone else wins. For all I know, they didn’t really win anyway. Putting $1000 in a machine and losing most of it to finally win something at the end is still a loss. High limit players like yourself do it all the time. When you’re doing huge bets, you will get many jackpots per session and often still lose money overall. Someone might only see the jackpot and think you’re winning big. They don’t know that in reality your multiple small jackpots still weren’t enough to overcome the money you actually lost.

But even though we are high roller Black tier card players, the comps and amenities have not been commensurate with our play (ie we spent over $100k last year and had to fight to get Superbowl viewing tickets for this year's game). We don't do nearly as much play at The Venetian, but they give us the world too. This year, Venetian will soon be our #1 Vegas spot! I was at Las Vegas a few years back. Majority of the time I lost at the slot machine. But, it low limits so it for entertainment purposes. I think is like 25 or 50 cents machine. 🤔 But, i was there like 3 or 4 days. I spent about $ 500 . Is at the California hotel I am better at tablet game like black jack or poker etc.... The food and the hotel come with the package deal about $ 700 - 800 that includes the airplane tickets.
