Where did our little bobble head go? This magnificent offspring of the great power couple, M15 and F23, has grown too fast. How lucky we are to share this journey in a season of such hope and promise. Soon our young one will take to the skies and with the tip of a wing, be off and gone exploring on its own life journey. Majestic, georgous, a true testament to the abilities of M15 (years) and F23 ( recently) in raising an eaglet to be a RegalEagle( OMG, sorry😂). The sense of confidence and the precocious athletic grace of this young bird is simply remarkable. It will no doubt be exciting once s/he starts exploring the pond and pasture and the surrounding neighborhood, hopefully still calling the nest tree home for some time. It's really hard, saying goodbye to these birds when they go out on their own for good.

Wasn’t it just last week E23 was a gray fuzzy bobble head wing paddling across the nest ?? Sure seems like it. Lots of curiosity in this eaglet !! Love how much growth has taken place in confidence alone. Can’t wait for perching with mom and dad, first bath at the pond, first Dracula walk, and first soar of the skies. Awesome close ups !! 23 is unstoppable! What's so cute is 23's happy and excited over his achievements and just wakes up to do more! This eagle has so much joy. It's just going so fast it seems! I can't stop smiling when I watch 23! It's like watching my own child exceed anything they try by just going for it. I love how 23 studies his feet, the branch and thinks - cool - I did it. Not sure how. Let's do it again.

Thank-you LadyHawk. Been watching the darlin' all dayHave you heard anything on E finally fledging today around 16 : 30 :00 ? I was watching both cam 1 & 360 screens up on my computer. Darn shame there was no pond cam to catch E23's fledge (?). That was my greatest fear for the last week...no pond cam for this major event. Even regular cam 1 shots have been stagnant and lacking. Cams don't turn to any arrivals until maybe a full 20 - 30 seconds after the action is over. Not a knock on volunteers. Just my personal observations of facts and a little sad at possibly missing her one and only fledge after all this time. E took off at that time, gone for about an hour or more. Mom came zooming into the nest while calling out later. Then E flew in across the rails from who-knows-where. Hoping at least one videographer might have been there on the Church grounds who was paying attention & got some footage. Just wondering if you've heard anything because neither of those 2 cams showed anything after she took off. 💔😢Thanks so much LadyH💖

I made a remark on another video a few days ago about the cam views. There was one incident where E jumped from the veranda to the nest when M brought food. For the next 18:38 minutes the view stayed on the veranda branch and all you could see was E’s beak tip and head bobbing up and down occasionally. Not sure why cam didn’t follow E when it jumped down to the nest. I miss pond cam as well. Am sure whatever the reason it is down will be rectified when possible 🙂
