I want to take a super soft baby brush and brush E24’s fuzz out of its eyes lol. E24 is strong as we can see by quickly it uprights itself when it tumbles backwards. Good healthy appetite. Face plants are cute. Bobble bobble….. way to precious. Awesome parenting !! 🦅💙🦅💜🐣💗🥚💕

I'm in love, I'm in love, I'm in love! ❤️🐣🌹💐🌷❤🌺🥰 With an eaglet lol. Are you using video from Jan 1, 2024? 😂 Or is E24 another SuperE? Deja vu all over again. So precocious. So big. Major genetics! E24 is even tracking the parents with excellent peripheral vision, and one eye wasn't even fully open (it is now). Pip!! Yay! Well, E24 already a bonking expert, on the grasses, anyway, so let the games begin! A bit worried that egg #2 is so much smaller than E24's. But, it might be small, but it will probably be mighty, like E24, so hopefully it goes well! Unless 24 is male and 25 is female and eventually surpasses 24 in size, then hilarious paybacks coming lol. First timers, just know that eagles (and Ospreys) are notorious bonkers (fighting), for the first days or weeks, usually requiring the younger to submit and eat last. Survival of the fittest is their game, and parents rarely stop it (by brooding or distraction). It can seem very cruel, but it's just instinctual and normal, and at the end of the day, if all goes well, best friends. Eaglets are tougher than they they look and can take a lot, but sometimes it's good to take breaks from it. The youngest is usually getting enough to eat, M15, and probably mom (it's her first time with 2), will see to that, so no need to worry. See LH's 2024 vid, West End Eagles - The Battle of the Bonking... for a preview, but #2 survived the early days, and #3 (!) came along and soon they were the most peaceful, most well behaved cute bunch ever, even during feedings! ❤️🦅🦅🐣 🥚/🐣

The second egg was laid three days later. In theory, it could hatch three-four days later. However, eagles practice delayed incubation of the first egg (not keeping it warm all the time). This moves the hatching time of eggs closer together. Since we have a confirmed pip (first crack) in the second egg - see LadyHawk's note - we KNOW it's a viable egg, and sibling is on its way out. It won't be today, but hopefully, tomorrow, we'll have two bobbleheads.
