Thank you Lady Hawk for this new addition to the Eagle library! The rain only made it more sadder to see E20 without his sister. Hearing his screeches .......I know we often will anthropomorphize animals as we put our own spin on what we think they're feeling but being human it's what we do......is E20 pining for his sister? For Mom or Dad to bring him food? Is he lonely? Wants to leave but just can't leave yet? I just want them all to be healthy, safe, and do what Eagles do best and live a long long life. My heart aches for their well being and I just love them so much. Words are so hard to come by in expressing all the feelings.........

When I saw live Mama Harriet, Papa M15 and E20 perched beautifully on the pasture snag, I thought to myself, "Oh my unforgettable Princess E19, how I wish you were here with your family enjoying the rain!" And I cried like a baby. I'm watching all the live cams hoping to have the miraculous grace of seeing E19 here again with E20 side by side doing anything together under the supervision of Mama Harriet and Papa M. This is sad for me!! I am not dealing well with 19 being gone...I know its part of the process and is the very first time I followed eagles from being hatched to now... so new and will have to develop thick skin I guess!!!

Dispersal..when the eaglets leave on their independent journey, has always been the least favorite of the experiences for me. It never gets easier.

Anne ~~~ Both eaglets grew up well, are healthy & fledged with strength and will develop skills well. I see that as a beautiful thing. The first nest I watched had 2 eggs laid, continued thru hatching & growth, but one eaglet died in the nest. You cannot imagine how long that upset me. Most recently I have read how the Avian flu has killed Bald Eagles in approximately 20 states in the US. Upsetting for any birds to die. I hope you don’t develop a ‘thick skin’ as it shows as you care about nature, our environment and our Earth. 🦅

OMG E20 came back? Where E19? He might far away from us. This made me remember E16 & E15 soaring very high then E16 gone and E15 came back to the nest for almost 2 more months💞💞💞

I have to say that my heart breaks for E20 with his sister not there with him and especially during the rain storm too.❤️🙏🏻🦅 I honestly pray that she didn’t leave too quickly and ended up injured or something too seriously. It was nice that E20 enjoyed his time with mom and dad though. But however, he ended up in the nest and and it was downpouring and I just wanted to shield and protect him so badly but, I’m sure he got through the bad weather fine. If I may say one more thing, I do for 20’s sake that his sister does make an appearance so he isn’t sad and lonely. Thanks LadyHawk and Have a blessed evening too. Lady Hawk, could it be possible that E19 is still in the area and H/M is somehow getting food to her? I've seen that she's capable of getting her own food, but she always had dad to fill her hunger. It's so painful for me to see E20 all alone at the pond, sitting on a pylon, probably looking for 19. At least he still has mom and dad until he's ready to leave.

It is unique to see how the family handle the weather situation seem theirs bodies are well equipped by the creator. E20 show tie grip with legs and talons holding on to the branch BABY raptor. (I'm being educated 😃) E19 🙏 I hope you are safe wherever you are flying . You 💘 are been miss (E19).

I hope 19 found herself some food, cuz the family were together in the tree, thought maybe mom or dad would take her a fish if she is close by. But now I don't think so... 19 is doing what she is suppose to do go off and find her way! It just seems like yesterday they were bonking each other, fighting for food & their rumbles in the nest ☺ I can't bare to see 20 so 😢 sad he is looking👀 for his big sis💔

Even though Mom and Dad are close by, they don't provide the companionship to E-20 that E-19 did. E-20 keeps scanning the sky, the pond, and the trees and calls for E-19. Bless the E's and their parents. Stay safe and stay strong. 💓💖 Thank you, Lady Hawk.

Before they can safely start on their journey, I think they have to do some research on things like : Have I enough Stamina to hold out until I can be sure of finding my next food source? What do I do if it rains and I have to hide in a tree until the weather dries up so I can hunt properly? That is a lot of flying for a bird with aching wings. Trial and error. Sometimes they have to fly back home for a few days and have another go when they catch up on their strength. I think it was E17 who had to return from an unsuccessful First Journey the last time. But, she made it in the end. I hope E19 returns with a good story for Mom and Dad of what happened and how she discovered how really big the world is out there.

First, to Lady Hawk, thank you for all of the amazing footage. I have been trying to get on to the sw eagle cam since yesterday. Have they been shut down? When was the last sighting of 19? I saw the footage of them soaring the other day. Did 19 just not return? Any insight would be much appreciated.

(Sharon Shneyer), The cams are temporarily off line and the Pritchet's have been notified. I know this is not really helpful. I go through this every season, but it is made more difficult by the personal problems in my life that also involve a sense of loss.

In the 5 and a half years I have been watching, they never leave together, one goes first, usually the oldest or first hatched, then a few days later the other one leaves.
