I can't believe you did this on unstretched hair, my daughters hair texture is EXACTLY like your daughters, and I just can't. Braiding against her curls just leaves us both in tears lol.
@LadyJusticehair7 жыл бұрын
what?!?!?! lol if you have the right products its every easy. i find that i like braiding on wet hair better than i do blowdried hair. weird right? lol but i tried some new products this weekend on her hair and it kept getting tangled and dry, so i do know what you mean because we went through that yesterday.
@ailaka19257 жыл бұрын
LadyJustice I've tried it with so many products, that now I just give up on that. It's not worth the wasted money, and since I started doing it on nonheat stretched hair, her hair has flourished and grown so long.

Thanks another how do strech her hair without heat. I put a little heat to my daughter,s i know i should but its so hard to comb and i had to do something to stop the crying
@LadyJusticehair7 жыл бұрын
+Gwendolyn Enzlow you can do big plaits to stretch or I like to band her hair as well this is an old video but we do it the same way. kzbin.info/www/bejne/oIbcqoN-oKpjoJo when it's dry and you comb it out it looks like it's been blow dried

Beautiful! My baby girl has the same hair texture. What do you use to keep her hair from being frizzy and what do you use to keep her hair from breakage? Thank you :)
@LadyJusticehair8 жыл бұрын
for frizz and fly aways we use jam but that only holds it down for so long, we just have to embrace the frizz but her hair just loves to get frizzy. and breakage I'm just very gentle with her hair, especially when I'm detangling because thats when breakage happens the most. but i style her hair and leave it be for the most part thanks for watching :D
@krististout55908 жыл бұрын
Not sure how I ended here, but now I can't stop watching your videos! How long does the entire process from detangling and washing to the completed style take?

I have a 3 year old with a similar hair texture and with long hair not quite that long but their hair is alike. How did you get her hair so detangled and manageable enough to braid?
@LadyJusticehair8 жыл бұрын
i have a wash routine that i follow. you can check it there. kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZoeqlHt-eZJkfac it shows you exactly what i do to her hair before this video starts. i detangle and put it in to sections. and i try to keep it sections until I'm ready for that section. but yea detangling really well is key for us. we use lots and lots of leave in conditioner and oil. hope that helps

what does a protective hairstyle mean? i really like your videos,but i'm really new to this natural-hair thing,i've never seen irl natural hair,but it look so fun!
@LadyJusticehair8 жыл бұрын
aww thank you so much for watching!! a protective style just means that the hair can be left alone until you are ready to style it again. i braid her hair like that and i dont have to style it again for at least 2 weeks. and as you can see she has a lot of hair so the less manipulation to it the better. hope that answers you question. :)
