I miss the original Castiel. He was used to obey God’s orders without questioning or second thoughts, and he is having problems adapting to humans’ free will. He “asks”, but Dean still decides… angels don’t have that luxury.

can't seem to go one video without someone say "destiel" something... its getting quite tiresome. I see nothing of the sort in these videos... I see them acting as brothers, as family... Dean treats Cas the same way he treats Sam... I just don't get it :S wishful thinking perhaps? I personally don't much care one way or another... but its something I do not see.

I’m four years late, but here goes. Whether someone agrees with the ship or not, even if it has been 100% confirmed or 100% denied by canon sources, I think anyone could agree Dean doesn’t treat Cas ‘the same’ as he treats Sam. They are separate people, and have a unique relationship - this might very well happen even if they *were* all three biological brothers, because relationships between people are complex and each unique in a bazillion ways. So, I say Dean treats/feels differently about Cas than he does Sam. That being said, Dean also obviously loves Cas, (after a few years of getting to know him at the least!) but whether that’s romantically, as a brother, or a deep lifelong friendship, is a nuanced and gray distinction which it’s ok for the fans to play around with. What I think most fans *can* all agree on is that Cas and Dean love each other very much and it’s adorable. As brothers, partners, coworkers, whatever who cares, however you interpret it, it’ll still be adorable

Playfulpanthress Dont get me wrong. I'm not homophobic, I'm a guy who has many gay friends, who I'd consider family. It's just before I thought the destiel made it awkward for me cos Dean and Cas are my adored characters, and seeing them that way made me uncomfortable, not in the homophobe sense. But regardless, some people love it. It's all fun. So nothing bad.
