Damn, this reminded me of ~2011 when I used to make music in FL Studio. I was so full of ideas, did so many experiments, was inspired by Sisters of Mercy and Theatre of Tragedy. Ah, those were the times. Looking back, most of my "music" from back then is objectively amateurish and just bad, but it still holds a special place in my heart.

See, I thought they were Eastern Europeans from the early '90s; they are actually British from the late '90s and 2ks, but to be fair to me, I saw true mathematics first, and it looked and sounded like the music I listen to regularly, which is Laibach. This is good pop-music, and I will listen to more, no offense to fans, but I was hoping it would be a bit more anti-pop. Pop music is a commodity forced on the masses by bad musical dissemination institutions, and it is generally about people and their emotions. This is fine but can be poisonous, emotionally. Anti-pop music, in my usage above, means music that is made by people, not marketing firms, and is about ideas. Maybe I will find that this Ladytron is actually a bit anti-pop. It is perfectly ok to be both simultaneously.

Saw you on Different Sounds festival in Lublin Poland yesterday. The video of the sun burning in the background with particles flying everywhere matched the dynamics of the song and will stay in my mind as one of the brightest highlight of the festival.
