Laetitia puts luxuriant textures on a broad spectrum of beautiful experiences and feelings with this tune. There may be a social construct that seems to obligate people to exclusive relationships, yet two people can also both just go, wow, no one could ever be as good for me as you. I've seen that turn out to be true. I've also seen people stay together because of social pressure and there is a sort of dramatic, operatic painful, powerful, tragic beauty to that, too. I wonder who wrote the book of love?
