I'm a father of two from Madison Central HS, and other than my kids' band performance, this one was excellent! One of the best I've ever seen! Love the song, and I really loved the flourish at the end! Keep up the great work!

Honesty.. The best performance this year was at GRC invitational. Which Lafayette was at their best. But.. Congrats to all bands! We are all winners! Especially from what we all went through last season.. Btw. I would be watching out for GRC in about 3 yrs. This director is somewhat like Jeff Hood. When he had GRC from 84 through 94.

Saw this performance live, it was the best High School band I have ever seen. This show topped multiple Grand National Finalists that I’ve seen

Maybe some of the finalists, but I wouldn’t say all of them: still a very very very fun performance to watch. And one execute well

@@iainoam2565 I didn’t say all of them. I just said multiple. Which I stand by. I was at Grand Nationals in 2021 with Racer Band and I saw a number of them live. I saw Broken Arrow, Flower Mound, Vista Ridge, Blue Springs, Ronald Reagan, and I think Marcus. Lafayette would’ve beaten (in my opinion), Vista Ridge, Blue Springs, and Ronald Reagan. Which in turn would also have put them ahead of William Mason as well. I’d also venture to say they would’ve beaten Dobyns-Bennett. Lafayette beat them head to head at BOA Johnson City in 2019, and they were better in 2021 than 2019. But I could be wrong

@@prestonjones20013 My son's senior year at LHS was 2015 so it would have been Fall of 2014 for his last year so you are right. It was 2015 that they did Les Mis again and spelled it out. I wish they would have redone the original because if you are going to recreate a masterpiece it needs to be atleast as good as the old or better!

Unfortunately I don’t think it’s gonna happen (I’m a current marcher that was in peace of mind looking back for nostalgia) but my dad marched in the 90s and he definitely wants it back too
