He had proposed a joint currency for Africa which would rival US Dollar. The new currency would be used to used to sell Oil and other riches in Africa. He had also proposed to have countries wealth measured in the amount of gold a country has in its reserves instead of the USD...This was bad for the western powers and he had to be brought down. The saddest part, he was fought by a "Son of Africa"
