The year they got away from the split grille. There was a white one in my area set up in "day two" period fashion I used to see at some local shows.

Hopefully, you still have the original rims and hub caps? Very nice. Sweet ride. 😋 ❤👍👊

Really cool car, I think its nicer than a 1960 Chev.

Those cars were built with " comfort " in mind . They were wonderful road cars and like the Oldsmobile , floated down the road !" Of course , they were more expensive than a Ford or Chevrolet when new , but like the old saying says ; " You get what you pay for , right ? " If you want finer things , you must pay the extra cost . Happy Motoring ! Mark E. Switzer

Had identical car back in 1966. Was a torque monster. Got first ticket for burning rubber fifty foot patch.

So did I, but mine wasn't a post. Got to many rattles I finally got rid of it at 70K. Pretty car, though. Paid $1K for it:-) Yes, it had that four speed hydromatic that beat just about anything from light to light, as long as the blocks weren't that long. Changed out the original 2bl for 4b Carter. Cheater slicks. Did 17.8 in the quarter mile (F/Stock Automatic). So wasn't all that fast, but sure beat the others off the line on the drag.

That would be a 389 engine.

Is the speedometer adjusted for the 17 inch wheels and tires? The minimum issue on the hood paint should be professionally repaired.

Lafontaine Classic Cars are ridiculously overpriced. Not only are they asking more than Barret Jackson would bring, but the majority of their inventory is priced at least double of classic car street value. For example, they want $65k for a freaking 69 Ford truck. I looked at this truck and found similar in Arizona for $3,200. Pathetic.

@Tonyg3573 the "1969 Ford Truck" in question in a restomodded F100 shortbed with a 5.0l Coyote swapped into it. Thanks for your consideration.
