When my mother passed away I drove up to the high mountains and found a place to camp for 3 days, I listened to Olafur with the car door open as I sat alone by the fire and I wept. I had a long conversation with God until I fell asleep by the fire, I did this for three consecutive days then after the third day I knew it was time to leave the sorrow behind. The drive back home was quiet with deep sighs, I miss my mom and all my mourning can't bring her back but I shall go to her...

I felt a warmth, a determination, and on my walk back home, with the image of stem and leaf in mind, I felt a spring in my step; The leaf won't let go and neither shall I.theimage of that golden leaf, held me steadfast in the belief to never give up, always catch the sun.*
