Did 15 wishes now. Top 3% in Shining Stars Leaderboard. (Top 2% in normal leaderboard/best times) Only got car parts, so never leveled up and I am grinding hard. This first event has only 2 days and 12 hours left. I was hoping for a chance to reach top level. I would like that Lightning bike. The Lambo Terzo is also nice. Already own the McLaren, so instead that's just one S-upgrade. Worried I will never reach top level and also worrie I might get that S-upgrade and then start at the bottom again. 1: I am not seduced to buy stars with real money, because thus far I only got cheap carparts and golden coins, so if Gameloft wants to make money, they have to increase chances to level up in that xmas tree. 2: It would be way better if you already own a car, it gives you a masterkey or way more direct upgrades or make sure there are cars displayed you do not own. 3: Also, chasing stars is fun, but many races there are no stars. It would be better there way more stars to catch in the event. They could increase the number of stars to catch in a race and also increase the number of stars to do a wish to even it out. This way it it's more fun, because catching stars is fun. 4: Not leveling up in that xmas tree, after 15 wishes and only 2 days and 12 hours left is no fun and especially if you are top 3%, which should be an indicator you are doing somewhat well in the event. I do see Gameloft has put effort in it and I always appreciate special events, but this one is kinda hard to enjoy thus far.

Yeah. In general the event left too much to be desired and i agree there is little incentive to go premium when everything is still randomized

​@YATESA8 to grind too hard is to play almost the whole day. Either way to have a lot of fuel tanks or buying it too!! 2nd. Seems to level up the tree to top is to do a lot of wishes straight away to get the levels unique prize. I got it on the bottom base after buying 140 starts and got that level after 90 starts plus grinding on the chasing stars races. Thus, to level up is like to grind around 200 stars, for the first two levels? Seems to play around 50 races to collect 2.5 stars, is impossible!!! You'll need a lot of fuel tanks too! Thus, is really impossible to get to top level under 5 days and without buying stars

@@gudnergiovannilondono9396 Right now I am top 2%, position 824, with 30 wishes, so i collected 270 stars, by racing, by buying with blue tokens and the daily 2 free stars. First part of the event I got to the second level of the tree after 21 wishes. Now I am back at the bottom level, getting cheap car parts again, but I got the BMW M2, so that' somewhat nice. I do not watch ads to get free stars, because on Imac Desktop there are no ads. So, i grind rather hard. You are right, it seems rather impossible to get to the top of the tree.

Hearing about the Chasing Stars event, I am happy to hear that the devs will try to make getting more stars and a good reduction price to perform a wish, since it will be difficult to achieve the main reward to move up to the next level of the tree. For the performance issue, there’s also some issue that I saw from a small KZbin channel showcasing rainbow colors on certain spots on Windows. I do know if it’s the Microsoft Store or Steam version, so I might recommend him to report it to Gameloft to see if a hot fix could patch it. If he also needs to show his specs, then maybe it could pin point to his hardware needing driver updates and maybe even some OS patches. Other than that, the Valkyrie AMR Pro seems to keep up with the competition. Is it really the best? No, but who cares. It’s a good thing I’m also practicing on some cars to get MP tunes for Legends Unite, since it does bring a lot of fun.

DBT I can't play A8 on windows 11 Pro because it just keeps crashing my computer in the middle of the second race no matter which 2 races or the same 1 twice it will lock up my pc. It wrecked one time so bad I had to do a recovery just to get my pc to boot back into windows. So I am dumping 11 for 10. W11 is pure 💩. Love your videos especially your rants when wrecks happen. Keep it up DBT.

@DBTsVrooms Win11 pro looked and worked very good for about a month then out of no where bam, Asphalt8 would crash randomly sometimes making me do a system testore then it just started getting worse as time went by to the point now it has been 3 days since I have got to play the game. Tonight I have finally got Win 10 Pro back running and updated, with all new passwords it is now re-downloading A8. Hopefully I can get back to cursing out those hackers with those new Hennessy Roadsters that even the Jesko can not keep up with. 😁

btw the car is drifting sharp because it's going way slower than it should. As you can see in the munich drift test,even in downhill,the car is going is going almost 40km/h slower than it should

What your boring videos show (made sure to thumb down) is that it's utterly pointless to "MP tune" cars in this game but that of course you can win some games with luck and good gameplay. Everybody can cherry pick a couple of games that show wins. On an extended average and everything else equal, a so called "MP tuned" car that you are wasting your time on is inferior. Read carefully before posting your clown reply, it requires a tiny bit of intelligence, something you're visibly short of 🙂
