Yeah I'm excited for Gentle the most! People are misreading/not understanding how his recoil mechanic works. 1. It only happens when at max Muscle Mass, you can avoid this but doing a 4th light attack to consume a Mass to avoid being at max (guessing that was the entire point of adding that mechanic) 2. His sig ability is meant to counter most of that recoil damage reducing it down to like 2.5% when also unstoppable 3. The most important bit, he replaces the recoil mastery with extra daunted potency. This means you can run recoil and not suffer the recoil damage, allowing him to throw as many specials as you want (as long as you aren't at max Mass).

Gentle seams like he is lowkey going to be a good defender. The increased block penetration could make him a chip down defender like Wong or Werewolf

both Gentle and Okoye look INSANE, the issue I have with Okoye is that what if the opponent is Bleed and Shock immune. Does her damage get affected or does the Deep Wounds have an affect

Bleed and shock immunity is a fairly rare combination, she might just not counter them tbh

Or, the normal approach - don’t use her for those fights. Not every champ should be able to handle every fight out there. That’s just silly logic to have lol. For example would you use Archangel against a bleed immune?

Gentle only takes recoil damage at 12 stacks of Muscle Mass. the 4th light attack consumes 1 stack so if you want him at 11 he will not be at peak and will not over exert himself. Chill, guys.

The masteries are just another mechanic to play around with. It isn’t nullifying your investment, it’s just a special characteristic/interaction based on a champ’s expertise/niche. It is not that big of a deal.

Sorry I was misremembering- what she actually did was throw a spear through the back window of the speeding car, out the front, and into the pavement causing the car to crash right into it. Also she was making that throw from the roof of another moving car.

Honestly easy access to bleed and shock is amazing, only around 13 champions have immunity to both and half of them aren’t great on defence and the some is only partial or conditional immunity.

Gentle looks like a champ I might rather rank up as 6* just because of his built in recoil, there is no way I will ever play champ who feels like he has recoils on when they are not. (6* are so much easier to s200)

@@jasondavis2995 no, he doesn't. The skill class is the weakest class in the game currently, they have a good amount of strong options but a lot of them are 6* locked and even still, the class just doesn't have the quality of champions pretty much any other class does.

Again, Gentle's kit seems big but damage isn't. He has recoil on, max 7 * still the output doesn't seem that good. When it doesn't crit it is nothing. Same as Okoye his defenders aren't like we see in normal deep dive. They have like 30-40k rating. Any champ would be good against those. Did i see it right?

Okoye damage doesn't seem to be that good. The max deep dive was her fighting lower ranked 7 * that might let us believe her damage to be good but actually seems before buff shuri.

I don't get why we get punished by playing the character as intended... Gentle getting hurt a lot when doing special attack seems like a cheap way to force people to awakening him and get him to 200 sig, and the 50% crit damage minus when doing a special 2 also seems unecessary :/ 50% base crit damage isn't adding a lot of damage... it ain't like if wad gaining cruelty or anything

You can prevent it by using a 4th light and then the special. I think it’s intended to be a skill ask. If you use it too early you lose health, but if you use it just right you can skip a dmg cycle
