Lage MAX-11/15 IRM Unboxing, Assembly and Test Firing

This video shows my unboxing a new Lage MAX-11/15 IRM upper receiver for the SWD M-11/Nine SMG lower receiver. It also shows how to assemble and disassemble the components. It also shows some of the first test firings I performed with the new upper.

Can't wait for mine. I'm stuck at #849 unfortunately. My Max 31 and Max 31 mk2 have both been flawless. Not a single failure of any kind since I've had them. Richard is the man.

well honestly an m16 is more valuable, versatile and customizable you can pop off the upper and switch to a SHIT TON of calibers but this upper is making the MAC 10 more attractive desired and Valuable then it was without the LAGE uppers :)

Very informative, one question though, is that the stock takedown pin? Just noticed it’s one piece and not two like the original

No, it is not the stock pin which is a two-piece. I do recommend the one piece pin. It is much more convenient.

Have you seen the adapter that's coming out where you can put any ar15 upper on m10 and then eventually m11 there is a waiting list going now they said first quarter of 2019 should be shipping

@@bobjohn8581 I know it's been a while but I didn't see an answer. I believe the adapter was called a tenko or something like that. From my understanding ATF said it's a no go, but I'm not sure if there has been litigated or anything.

Is the bcg as heavy as the original upper bolt?

It's really an AR-15/M16 bolt and carrier with a couple of extra parts added. Very little difference in total weight for the BCG compared to an AR-15.

How fast was it compared to a M16

It's very similar. Both the M16 and MAX-11/15 are somewhat adjustable with a gas block and both will depend on the type of ammo. When nicely adjusted, they both run about 800 RPM.
