1:09:40 The “you’re so real” stems from the fact that society today has made everyone look online that they’re not struggling or having problems which makes people human, pressuring who wants to be pressured so people that post their struggles are termed “real” because they defy that societal standard that social media has set for the general public that puts pressure on the pressured which is not a bad thing but everyone should get that some of us want to wake up to see on our platforms a life that we’re manifesting to live comfortably from the comfort of our spaces and not faking it, just working hard to live it soft in the long run

1:08:10 In the aspect of the “omg you’re so relatable” some Nigerians have this default setting to always prompt or project their state or standard of living on others, one hand they have this belief that if something doesn’t seem realistic to them probably because of their condition (like trips, partying nonstop and “going out”) they term it “fake life” or try to make up an excuse why that person didn’t acquire those feats genuinely because, so posting your struggles and down time experiences makes it look to them or gives them a pass (to not feel pressured) that okay this person goes through what they’re going through, in other words; relatable. And it is bad!

Very well said. And I do not want to be relatable, thanks. NEXT! 😂
