Hayden showed me that you dont have to be born in the motogp world and go though all the classes. He showed up in motogp was fast from the start and he beat a prime rossi who won the title 5 times in a row. Even though rossi had bike problems, doesnt take away hayden’s fighting spirit. When the famous Ducati's tubular frame became unsuitable and hopeless due the never ending power achieved by the engine, the quest for the right balance between stiffness & tensile strength started...and is still today an on-going process. After Stoner title, tyres monopole came also to an end, meaning Bridgestone can't develop tyres for the sole Ducati team anymore...

Ya' know.. I hadn't thought about that. OF COURSE the Duc, with it's semi-frameless, carbon-fiber chassis, is going to stress it's tires differently than other bikes, which utilize a conventional aluminum frame and swingarm. I wonder if the Panigale will have similar troubles in WSBK?

As has been said, BMW is pulling out of WSBK. Top management is gutting the budget to the SBK racing division and allocating those funds to developing other non-racing-related projects.
