to bad ikea doesn't sell the malm dresser anymore, they had to do a recall because for some reason it wasn't 'safe'

they took it down from the site temporarily, and everyone in the world has that dresser so i'm sure you could find it for resale

The MALM system is still available. Do you mean the EXPEDIT system? IKEA replaced the EXPEDIT system with the KALLAX system. The only difference is that the thickness of the outer edges is quite a bit smaller. IKEA explained the replacement with envoronmental reasons. They use less wood ressources that way. I hope that helped :-)
