LazerDuck My logic is appropriate. The very definition of anime is is "Japanese hand-drawn or computer animation" as well as "Outside Japan however, anime is used to refer specifically to animation from Japan", which Jem falls under because of Toei animation studios. And fun fact: a great deal of anime are actually animated in Korea. Technically it is an anime. Never said that's what it should be called.

In reply to OtAKu_42 and R A V E N B. below: 😃 Yes, Toei Studios in Japan animated a lot of the Jem series, except for some episodes where due to costs, Hasbro/Sunbow had a Korean animation company animate those other episodes, but those episodes are equally good to look at and watch. 😃 Toei were going to draw the characters in an anime style, but an artist who flew to Japan with a portfolio of the characters, showed them that they wanted the characters to be drawn in the style of a more typical human look, and so they did. 😃
