LahimAbi Ajin means bread with meat and the ingredients are as follows.
for the bread,
mix 6 cups of bread flour
salt
half cup of vegetable oil
mix two cups of warm water with 1 sachet instant yeast and add to the flour. knead well and use 1 cup of lukewarm water to knead your bread, add the water slowly as you knead until you have the right consistency. leave the bread to rise for two hours or more.
For the meat topping, cook about 750 g -1 kg of beef mince with some oil, add 6 chopped onions, 3 chopped green sweet peppers, (you could also use green chilis if you like it spicy), salt and pepper, 1 tube of tomato puree, some water and your topping is ready.
Make small golf sized shape balls and flatten the bread and top it with the mince mixture. cook in oven of 180 c fan and keep checking on it until cooked, careful not to burn them.
