It's powerfull but for 12v motor/battery it only last for 10 - 15 minutes (on thick grass) which covers approx 10 sq ft of lawn........ imagine if you've got a wide lawn! I've done the same thing and it's a nightmare to trim my 35 sq ft lawn even with 2 batteries.......

This is a good skill-building exercise for kids but if you really need to cut grass for cheap buy a used push mower for a few bucks and some sandpaper to sharpen it.

i tried this before. * 1st motor is to weak, * 2nd it gets hot - u ll end up by burning motor. * now i am trying 895 motor, with 12-24V ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/npq5hn-OZtSbY8U ) its closer, but still close to overheating the motor, so u need relays or something not to burn it .. In my opinion it should be probably brushless motor - ll see what ll end up .. on this part.
