@@randomviewer9976 highrises were not allowed even in centre of city. Because of Walton flying club was located there. Last year Walton club closed and moved out of city. Height limits relaxed in centre of city. This area shown in video is DHA (private housing society). Located surrounding Lahore international airport. Dha is mainly residential area designed for bungalows, villas, houses. Not commercial.

Really,Karachi is a bigger and a more industrialized city and should be more developed in the Pakistan context. Your comment is nothing but hate speech in disguise ,making a sweeping generalization that everyone who lives in Lahore is uncivilized. Lahore has always been the cultural, artistic and literary capital of Pakistan with a very large,growing and very sophisticated and cosmopolitan middle class who have welcomed any ethnic group from all over the country and the region. Perhaps that is s why it has has been more peaceful and prosperous in the past 40 years,while Karachites have been busy violently murdering thier fellow citizens in thier thousands, giving it the the dubious honour of being known internationally as the "City of Death"..And that is why ex Karachites like me were forced to pack up and move to "uncivilized Lahore "like tens of thousands other families from Karachi? Point to ponder. Btw,Karachi's human development index may be higher than Lahore,but Punjab is still the most socioeconomically developed of all provinces... And it was Lahore, not Karachi that was amongst the 10 global top destinations of arts and culture ,according to major international publications like the The Architectural Digest and the New York Times for tte past couple of years
