@ same here, I started years ago with some lights and an Alexa in my first house. Now got 2x vacuum robots, lights, shutters, thermostat, garage and gates doors, cameras, 5-6 echos and the robot mower coming next summer 😂. Wife thinks I’m crazy 😝

This video was my first introduction to your channel and I appreciate you sharing the product. I’ve only used the echo dot but looking for something for the kitchen. I’m sure everyone has a different opinion but it seems that to spend 10 minutes showing what it looks like in different spaces in your home didn’t leave a lot of time for actually showing the functionality and versatility. I look forward to more product reviews as this is my first time seeing the larger echoes.

I mainly want it just to show pictures. But I think it's too expensive for that. I'll try to create one with a portable monitor and picture frame.

Yeah or a cheap used $30 tablet will work with a frame around it.

Sorry this does have a HUB. But yeah the hub will allow you to connect to almost every device. Without it some devices like smart blinds won't work. Lot's of Echos have the HUB built in. If you just Google Echo devices with a HUB you'll see all of them.

The Echo is called 2nd generation because the first generation of Echo show 15 came out 3 years ago this New Echo show 15 has just been updated with better Sound Ect.

Do you have a video covering functions? I need to know more about how the video chat, can it replace my Facebook portal? Can it use WhatsApp or connect to family that have a portal? Can our doctor do video appointments with this? Does it have Zoom? Also, more info about the calendar, do I need to update it physically or can it integrate with the IOS calendar on my iPhone? Can I access an internet web browser? Thank you. Sorry for so many questions. :)

Yes you can Zoom You can connect a ios calendar No WhatsApp anymore Yes it has a web browser Most people will be able to do 90% of portal stuff on Echo show devices. I'm sure they will get more and more features as Portal is disconnected .

Not accurate this echo show 15 has a hub and is the exact same in every way as the 21 minus the screen size and ability to for more widgets on it. I know cause I upgraded from the original echo show 15. Hopefully my comment won’t get deleted for correcting you on this.

Yes, loads of people are buying them. It's the only picture frame, smart assistant. I also think people want a central large echo like this on the wall to interact with daily. And small cheap echos around the house.

I just bought one yesterday and delivered today. I have been using a Meta Portal as my fake Echo Show. THey announced earlier this week that Alexa would no longer work with Meta Portal on 25 January 2024. We have been doing our lists, displaying security cameras, etc and have become completely dependent. I decided to upgrade to the Show 15. I just hooked it up, and am very happy with the way it works.

I Have the Echo Show 15 with Amazon Echo Sub The Subwoofer when synced with the Echo Show 15 Gives you Really Deep Bass when Playing Music With Amazon Music and Spotify And The Amazon Can be put With the New Echo show 15 And the Echo show 21 It's worth getting the Sub Make A Massive difference to The Sound Cost 120 dollers on Amazon. Hope this Information Helps.
