I keep getting drawn back to this, possibly the best performance of our time. If there will come a time in the life of the audience members when they'll be allowed to research and understand what they saw?

Simply as that , look at those faces , regime tells to its people: look that will be a music if korea will not be a korea. Despite that i love laibach , even most europeans are not ready for such music. They have been played

They were singing: We stand alone But soon the day will come When freedom rings We'll meet again Now eternally And walk Once more as one! in the face of N. Korean people, while Kim Jong-un was present, and STILL people call those true artists fascists.

The dude at 1:50 widens his eyes and lifts his eyebrows twice in surprise when he hears "We fight for you / for freedom unforeseen." While you may think of North Koreans as brainwashed and ignorant, anyone high enough up in the social ladder to be sitting there in a theater in Pyongyang is going to have a keenly honed political instinct and extensive ideological training, simply because those are requirements for literal survival. That guy understands exactly what's being said and the implications.

I live in middle of consumerism society and come to conclusion that every aspect of life in this system is just one big brainwashing. You have to be like robot in your work and consumerism zombie in your free time to prevent collapse of this system.

The brightness of things usually happens in the first contact with the unknown, they are listening to a musical style very different from what they are used to. It happens to anyone when they are faced with what is not common in their life.
