Laibach Smrt Za Smrt Live Opinion/Review. Incredibly powerful.
The audio seems a bit off. I think the wrong mic picked it up. Sorry about that.

Insults, toxic behavior, and insulting others will get you blocked. Be respectful here on the channel. Phrases like" still waiting for x band/ song" will get deleted. "When are you doing x album" will get deleted. React to x band will not get responded to. " Yes I know I sound like Phil Anselmo, and I look like Rob Halford. :)

The camera angle is more comfortable this time around, though I'm unsure if it's because it being similar to the old setup, I'm just more used to this kind of angle. Having said that, I did feel like in the last couple videos you looked like you were in a physically awkward position, with your body facing one way and turning your head towards the camera, but maybe the camera's playing tricks in that regard. The lighting also feels better this time, I remember in one of the previous videos I thought to myself that the shadows on your face seemed very stark, and the overall lighting of the room felt dim, everything feels more balanced now. Started typing at the beginning of the video, as I watched something I noticed was the slight angle you're positioned in when looking at your monitor, for me at least it creates a slight visual dissonance, since it looks like you're looking away from the music video; you're facing the left side of the screen, the video is on the right. Just a thought, might not bother some people, bother may even be too strong of a word. That was a really interesting video. The dissonance and chaos at the beginning initially felt like a bit much, but as it kept going I started to feel like I got what they were going for. I don't know if this kind of thing would make it into my regular listening rotation, but I definitely appreciate and respect what these guys are doing. *Thank you for reading my essay any notes and/or suggestions are welcome k thx

One of my favourite bands since I first saw them live at the "Lords of independence" festival here in Bonn. In 1986. And with every of their releases my respect for their art keeps growing.

Thanks for the vid! "Laibach Revisited" is going to be released in less than a month from now and it shapes up to be one of their best albums yet, which is not easy given all the great albums they already did. This version of "Smrt za smrt", while it's new and fresh, it incorporates motifs from all the previous versions, which is really great, especially if you're a longtime fan. The meaning of the song as written in the pdf (my first one written for you, almost 10 months ago, and without graphics!) is more my interpretation than a fact, although they were referencing the events I wrote about at the time, like in "XY-Unsolved" project (a controversial interview in popular current affairs/political programme TV Tednik [TV Weekly] in June 1983 when the show’s host branded them “enemies of the people” and appealed to respectable citizens everywhere to intervene and destroy this dangerous group). Performing this song nowadays (they perform it not that rarely since 2009 slightly changing the arrangements as the time goes) places it in different contexts, showing that atrocities and 'death for death' mentality are unfortunately still alive. As always, thank you for your work and see you soon.

I think the song is not about war atrocity, rather a comment on capital punishment
